Role Summary: We are seeking an Accountant to support financial operations across multiple business entities. This role is flexible in scope and open to candidates with varying levels of experience. Responsibilities, autonomy, and compensation will be based on experience and skill set.

Core Responsibilities & Duties:

Core Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate financial records and general ledger entries
  • Assist with month-end close and financial reporting
  • Process vendor invoices and customer payments
  • Support accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Perform bank, loan, and account reconciliations
  • Maintain organized financial and equipment documentation
  • Protect confidentiality and data integrity

Expanded Responsibilities (Experience Dependent)

  • Prepare and analyze monthly and quarterly financial statements
  • Oversee AP/AR workflows and controls
  • Coordinate with external accounting and tax professionals
  • Oversee payroll processing, filings, and year-end reporting
  • Prepare fuel tax filings and manage permits, licenses, and 2290s
  • Support equipment purchasing, financing, titling, and payoff records
  • Provide financial reporting and insights to leadership

Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail and organization
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
  • Accounting or Finance degree or relevant accounting experience

Compensation and level will be determined based on experience.
