Apply NowThe Safety & Recruiting Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support to the Safety & Recruiting Manager. The position will assist in maintaining compliance with state, federal and employer safety regulations and policies.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Filter phone calls
- Communicate on behalf of the person they support
- Prepare communications, such as memos, emails, reports and other correspondence
- Write and edit documents from letters to reports and instructional documents
- Maintaining comprehensive and accurate records
- Data entry into excel data bases
- Assist with troubleshooting telecom issues
- Assists in renewing licensing, permits, certifications, and forwarding all renewed forms to the proper locations, permit books and other equipment as needed
- Maintain filing systems, both electronic and physical
- Arrange and coordinate meetings, appointments and events
- Assist in the oversight of driver logs and HOS compliance
- Maintain updated safety policies and provide training to drivers
- Provide safety, recruiting & orientation support
- Other duties as assigned
