Driven by Legacy: Eight Decades of Simon’s Trucking
From two trucks in 1946 to more than 100 drivers today, Simon’s Trucking has grown by staying true to a simple philosophy—grow forward but never forget where you came from.
Founded by George Simon Sr., the company expanded alongside the Farley community, serving local farmers and reinvesting in people, equipment, and infrastructure. By the late 1950s, Simon’s had grown into Farley’s largest privately owned employer, a reflection of both opportunity and trust.
The next generation carried that momentum forward. Roger expanded operations, strengthened customer relationships, and formalized the standards that still define us today: Pride, Professionalism, and Performance.
As we continue to modernize today under the 3rd Generation of the Simon’s Family—adding maintenance facilities, fuel islands, scales, and automated truck washing—one thing has yet to change: drivers aren’t numbers. Long tenured employees, multi generation families, and lifelong careers become part of our story.
Eighty years wouldn’t be possible without the drivers, shop teams, office staff, and families who have trusted Simon’s Trucking with their careers. From decades long veterans to our current leaders, Simon’s Trucking has always been powered by people who take pride in what they do—and care about doing it well.
When you join Simon’s Trucking, you don’t just take a job. You become part of a legacy that began eight decades ago. Measuring success isn’t just in miles or machines—but in loyalty, trust, and the people who show up every day to keep things moving.

Simon’s is recognized as setting the standard in the transportation industry.
