Simon’s Trucking is looking for a dependable Wash Bay Attendant in Farley, Iowa to help keep our trucks and trailers clean, safe, and ready for the road. This position is responsible for truck washing, trailer cleaning, operating power washers and other wash bay equipment, and maintaining a safe and organized work area.
The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, takes pride in their work, and is comfortable working around trucks, trailers, cleaning equipment, and commercial-grade cleaning chemicals.
Responsibilities:
- Driving and parking trucks and trailers on the yard
- Using and replenishing commercial-grade cleaning chemicals
- Operating power washers and other truck washing equipment
- Performing truck and trailer cleaning to maintain a clean, professional appearance
- Cleaning truck and trailer interiors and exteriors as needed
- Removal of garbage and debris
- Maintain a clean and organized wash bay and work area
- Follow all OSHA regulations and safety requirements for a safe work environment
- Provide excellent customer service assistance as needed
- Perform related work assigned by supervisor as required
- All other duties assigned
Qualifications:
- Must have a strong work ethic
- Ability to safely use power washers, cleaning equipment, and commercial-grade chemicals.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
